I visited this place and Elasha, the front office assistant manager, in early April. While I liked the apartments that I viewed, they didn't suit my situation and current economy. However, Elasha is a wonderful person to deal with and took her time to chat with me about the benefits of living at Summerwood while listening to my needs and did her best to help find the right option for me. She never rushed me out of the office and spoke to me like we were old friends. (Some of the residents stopped by while we were chatting and you can tell how much they liked her by their conversations.) Though I didn't submit an application to Summerwood because of its distance to work, I would have gladly lived there because Elasha Young is such a lovely person and the living environment was peaceful. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from Elasha and Summerwood in the future if I were to move to the Hayward/Castro Valley area. Thank you, Elasha, for the lovely conversation and for your patience! I hope you had a great birthday!

Elasha and other managers at Summerwood are extremely hospitable and accommodating. The property looks serene, beautiful and private despite being in the middle of Hayward. Its amenities, including the pool and fitness area, are updated and well cared for.
